Terms of Use

These terms apply whenever you access St. Bernard Parish Criminal History. Using a page, reading content, or starting a search confirms your agreement. If you do not accept the conditions, discontinue use.

NO FCRA USE. This privately operated website has no government affiliation. Neither it nor its advertising partners offer services intended for credit, employment, insurance, tenant, or other decisions covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). It provides access information for St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana, and is neither a private investigation firm nor a consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no government ties. It does not store official records, conduct official checks, retrieve documents, or submit filings.

Its content identifies SBSO, the 34th JDC Clerk, Louisiana State Police BCII, and the Louisiana State Sex Offender and Child Predator Registry as custodians, and may connect readers with outside research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

You agree that you will not:

  • Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
  • Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
  • Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
  • Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
  • Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
  • Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Site or linked information must not be used to harass, stalk, intimidate, threaten, or unlawfully discriminate. Louisiana law restricts misuse of Louisiana State Sex Offender and Child Predator Registry data and may impose criminal penalties. Registry information supports public safety awareness, not confrontation, vigilantism, or prohibited discrimination.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We do not generate background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports of any kind. Neither we nor our advertising partners provide services built for screening job applicants, reviewing rental applications, calculating insurance rates, or judging creditworthiness. You agree not to use data from this site or any linked tool to:

  • Decide whether to hire or fire someone
  • Screen potential renters or housing applicants
  • Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
  • Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
  • Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

A report for a regulated purpose must come through an authorized Louisiana State Police BCII process or an FCRA-compliant screening provider.

5. No Legal Advice

Content is general information, not legal advice. Consult a licensed Louisiana attorney about how a charge, warrant, conviction, or expungement law applies to a specific matter.

6. No Warranties

Everything on this site is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that:

  • The information here is accurate, complete, or current at any given time
  • The site will stay up and running without interruptions
  • Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes
  • Results from our partner search tools will be thorough or accurate

Criminal records change as charges are filed, amended, dismissed, restricted, or expunged. Delays and gaps are possible, and site content is not an official statement from SBSO, a court, BCII, or another agency.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links may lead to SBSO, court portals, Louisiana agencies, legal-aid groups, and outside search services. We do not control a destination's content, privacy practices, fees, terms, or availability. Review its rules before use.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, graphics, logos, and code belong to St. Bernard Parish Criminal History or its content partners. They may not be copied, changed, distributed, or reused without prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for damages arising from site use or reliance on information supplied here or by a linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, proceedings, demands, and reasonable costs caused by your site use or breach of these terms.

11. Governing Law

Louisiana law governs these terms. Any related dispute must be filed in a Louisiana court with proper jurisdiction.

12. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised, and a new version takes effect when posted here.

13. Cutting Off Access

Site access may be limited or terminated at any time, with or without notice.

14. Severability

If one provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms stay in force. The affected part is adjusted only as needed for enforcement.
